Valley Pride strives to embrace processes and actions that recognize people’s right to participate fully in society as their authentic selves no matter your gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, race/ethnicity, spiritual/religious practice, age, neurodiversity, and any other unique differences. Herewith we call for accessible gender affirming care for our trans siblings and stand with trans folks facing both individual and systemic violence.

We stand against racism in all its forms. We stand with Black Lives Matter and join in the global call for an immediate ceasefire in Palestine. 

Truly participating in truth and reconciliation requires us to confront colonialism in ourselves and systemically. With this we stand with Indigenous people across Turtle Island as they call for action and justice to resolve the ongoing tragedy of MMIWG2S LGTQIA & MMIR and demand the search of landfills.
