Performers
Queera Bang
Queera Bang (they/them) is a non-binary performer/producer with the goal of creating more access to queer events, safe spaces, and visibility for youth in rural Nova Scotia. They strive to create shows and spaces that celebrate gender diversity and drag beyond the world of Rupaul. Queera is known for their roller skating antics and ridiculousness on the mic.
Diana B. Tease
Diana B. Tease is Halifax’s dashing diabetic diva, and her blood sugar is probably higher than yours. Diana is a queer activist, founder of Halifax Queer Solidarity Project, co-host of the Gay Expectations podcast, and co-founder of Glitter & Grit Events.
Steph Peaks
Halifax’s Premier Pointing Princess! Steph Peaks may be new to the scene but she’s coming in HOT! Originally from small town Nova Scotia, Steph made the move to Halifax to really let her drag career thrive! She’s known for sewing up a sickening look and pointing her way through every performance! Pretty, Petty, Peaks 💕
Cookie Cunnigham
Cookie Cunningham is a drag king of flare and style, he likes to shake it up and shake things loose, so always prepare for something to come off. When professor utonium put this one together after the powerpuff girls he mixed, black excellence, sensuality and a whole lot of confidence.
Queen Morticious
Queen Morticious is your local friend and she is secretly living in your basement. She was also your babysitter back in the 90’s. Mort is the Annapolis Valley’s favourite unhinged malignant spirit, but that’s not public knowledge (so keep your mouth shut Deborah).
G-Spott
G-Spott (They/Them) is a drag artist and the newest non-binary bombshell to hit the stages of Nova Scotia. G-Spott loves to ruffle feathers and think outside the box into the waters of androgyny. As a person of colour, G-Spott takes pride in being an Arab performer and challenges the norm daily. Tearing up the dance floor, the G-Spott experience is one not to miss!
Accessibility Notes:
King Arms Pub is a welcoming business for the Queer Community. However, we would like to note there are no gender-neutral washrooms on site, and the venue is upstairs with no elevator access.
This event will also have loud music, low lighting and general crowd noise and cheering.
If you want to watch the show but might appreciate something to do with your hands, Valley Pride will provide fidget items at the event.
We invite you to consider this and your own personal ability before attending.
Masks are welcome but not required.
There will be ASL interpretation for this event.
Closed accessible parking is located in Centre Square.
