Join us at Canning Library for a peaceful evening of silent reading and community connection. We invite community members of all ages to come out to read quietly, surrounded by other queer folks.

And who knows, maybe you’ll make a new book bestie while you’re at it!

We will have 3 rooms set up. One for silent reading in community with others, one for refreshments and light quiet chatting about your books, and one for the kiddos that want to join!

This event is free of charge to attend and open to all ages.

Accessibility Notes:

Entrances: slight ramp at the front door, but it is not to building code standards.door is wide enough for a wheelchair and there is room enough to enter the front room. South space toward the back is not accessible.
Parking: no designated accessible parking.
Washrooms: gender neutral washroom, not wheelchair accessible.
